The Vegetarian Butcher “COMMENT FOR A CHANCE TO WIN” spring competition 

1. This promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over except employees of Unilever UK Limited (“the Promoter”), their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 

3. To enter this competition, entrants must follow @vegetarianbutcher on Instagram and comment on the competition post, tagging a friend. Please note the entrants who fulfil this criteria are eligible to win only. There is no prize for the Instagram user they are tagging.  If the tagged user wishes to enter the competition, they must also make a comment and ensure  they are following The Vegetarian Butcher official Instagram page. 

4. Entrants must also notify the Promoter of any allergies they or their guest has (in response to the Promoter’s information request).

5. The opening date for entries is 18:00 BST on [Friday 26th March 2021] and the closing date for receipt of entries is 18:00 BST on [Monday 5th April 2021].

6. Multiple entries from the same Instagram handle are accepted. There are 3 winners that will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents. The winner will be notified by Instagram Direct Message. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

7. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions. 

8. Entrants shall indemnify and hold the Promoter and their respective affiliates, directors, or other partners (“the Indemnitees”) harmless from any claims, actions, proceedings, costs (including reasonable legal fees) and expenses brought or asserted by a third party against any of the Indemnities arising as a result of the Promoter’s use of the entrant’s submission including but not limited to any breach of third party intellectual property rights. 

9. Each entry must be suitable for display and publication online and should not be obscene or indecent, it must not contain defamatory statements or words or symbols that are offensive either generally or to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group.  It must not include threats to any person, place, business or group, it must not invade privacy or any other rights of any person, firm or entity, and it must not in any way violate applicable laws and regulations or network standards.  

10. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to release, discharge and hold the Promoter harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from entrants’ participation in this promotion (save that nothing shall limit the Promoter’s liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by its negligence). 

11. Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hard or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof or receipt. 

12. There are a total of 3 winners. The prize per winner is the Vegetarian Butcher product range which includes the following products. If the winner requests vegan products only, we will send the vegan products out accordingly, excluding the vegetarian products.

13. The Prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

14. The Promoter will notify the winners when and where the prize will be posted. 

15. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

16. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

17. The Promoter shall have right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. 

18. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions without notice in the event of circumstances or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter. 

19. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. 

20. This promotion is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.

21. The competition will be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
